Farewell to a friend and a close family member, George Bowe is remembered.

As I wake up from a great tour date in Buffalo NY the night before I get a call in the morning from my Mother to let me know that late that night before, just before midnight my Father George Bowe peacefully took his last breath to go home to be with Jesus. He went very peacefully and by his own choice, holding his wife's hand all day and then slowly letting himself go. It was apparent after the complications on his stomach surgery, that he was not healing well and compounded with the fight against lung and brain cancer earlier that year my Farther simply wanted to go home to be with the Lord. He fought off cancer for eight months, he kept having to fight complications like Adema and then this stomach problem came out of left field and he was just exhausted.

The reason I am sharing this? First to create a of an online digital memorial for George's friends and family. Second because many do not know this but my Father was a huge reason and supporter for my first band The Bloodhound Gang as well as WOLFPAC. Without him I wouldn't have been able to achieve everything I have and will continue to achieve. He was one of these Fathers who was proud in his son's achievements, who helped get behind me and his band mates and many a times his contributions to both bands is what was needed to take them to the next level. This is rare in a person and if not for his efforts the likelihood of either band existing or succeeding would have been slim to none. Trust me when I say, George Bowe was one of those behind the scenes people that will truly be missed but as he is saved by the grace of Jesus Christ I know I will get to see again in heaven!
